Kimber Manufacturing : The company was founded in 1979 in Oregon, and quickly got quite famous for their high-end .22lr rifles. They moved to Yonkers, New York after a series of financial hard times found them in the hands of a new owner. They make very high quality M1911 style pistols in a multitude of different variations. They have also started getting into the sub-compact size guns with their Solo and the new Micro-Carry line. Springfield Armory, Inc. : Originally founded in 1777 in Springfield, Massachusetts, and they used this same site for almost 200 years. The company has been a leading name for the firearms industry for generations and was also a leading force in many American involved war efforts. The company has since been moved to Geneseo, Illinois as of 1974. They still produce M1911 and M1A’s in the United States and now manufacture their XD, XD-M, and XD-S lines of firearms in Croatia. We generally keep a large selection of Springfield firearms in stock.
