Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems has won its third consecutive ‘Supplier of the Year’ award from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, reflecting the exemplary work undertaken by the business to deliver consistently high quality products on time throughout 2008. Businesses must achieve ‘green’ ratings each quarter to qualify.

Coventry-based Dunlop Aerospace Braking Systems has been named a Supplier of the Year by Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, the company that designs, develops, manufactures and supports advanced business jet aircraft.

Meggitt is to benefit further from soaring world demand for executive jets after clinching a major deal to provide an advanced wheel and braking system for Gulfstream Aerospace’s new G650 jet. The multi-million dollar award is Meggitt’s biggest ever wheels and brakes contract in the business aviation marketplace and has the potential to provide a strong revenue stream over the life of the programme.
