On September 10, 1950, the citizens of Hancock County gathered for the dedication of their new Memorial Hospital. This was indeed a fitting memorial to the men and women of Hancock County who lost their lives, for it meant the healing of illness and saving of lives among their own people.The physician's (or radiology or pathology, etc.) services at Memorial Hospital are provided by independent practitioners.
