What is the Maryland Educational Opportunity Center (MEOC)? MEOC is a community-based program that provides free comprehensive information and counseling to adults and youths interested in going to college or technical schools. The headquarters is located at 2641 Maryland Avenue in Baltimore City. Outreach offices are in the Park Heights community in Baltimore and in the Wilde Lake Village Center in Columbia, Howard County. What Services MEOC Success MEOC, a federal TRIO program, is one of 124 Educational Opportunity Centers in the country. Since 1968, the Maryland Educational Opportunity Center (formerly Direct Search for Talent) has helped nearly 70,000 clients. Over the years, participants have been awarded millions of dollars in financial aid, including grants, scholarships and loans.
