The company got its start in 1905 with the invention of the first horizontal slab re-saw that was designed to cut lumber at high production levels. Today, as we draw near to our 100th anniversary, Mereen-Johnson Machine Company continues to focus on innovative design and manufacturing of high production machinery. From large window and door plants to the smaller custom furniture manufacturer, Mereen-Johnson has addressed and solved many unique application and production requirements. We manufacture a complete line of stationary and moving blade multiple rip saws; plus single and double end tenoners, CNC dovetailers, panel sizing systems, and the engineering capability to design and build complete rough mill systems integrated with vision optimizing systems.Our engineering department uses the latest CAD technology; our manufacturing facilities employ state-of-the-art CNC machining centers, and internal quality control ensure that the product will perform precisely as designed.Mereen-Johnson is positioned to address the challenges that woodworking manufacturing operations will face in the future just as we did back in 1905.
