Description

Mike has over 15 years of experience in construction, real estate, and development. Prior to joining Meridian, he worked in commercial brokerage at CB Richard Ellis for 6 years, performing sales and leasing of industrial and flex/office product. He has also worked as a developer with Catellus/ProLogis, and as a general contractor with Turner Construction Company, completing over $500 Million in new construction, totaling over 2 Million square feet. Notable projects include Pacific Commons retail power center in Fremont, RAND Corporate Headquarters in Santa Monica, and several medical, healthcare, and bio-pharmaceutical facilities for clients such as AMGEN, BAXTER, and DaVita Dialysis. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of California at Santa Barbara. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker, General Contractor, and LEED Accredited Professional.

Philip has over 10 years experience in real estate law, management and development prior to joining the Marcus & Millichap family of companies. Philip currently also serves as the general counsel Sovereign Investment Company and Highland Development Company. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and received a JD from Hastings College of the Law. Philip is a member of the California Bar.

Elizabeth brings over 17 years of retail development experience to Meridian. Elizabeth’s strengths lie in her tenant relationships, site acquisitions, entitlements, due diligence analysis including escrow, title, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Phase II Investigations, ALTA surveys, property reports as well as handle issues regarding environmentally contaminated properties. In addition, she has extensive experience negotiating leases and the ability to work closely with a wide variety of tenants. Prior to joining Meridian, Elizabeth held the position of Vice President – Legal/Senior Project Manager for a Newport Beach, California real estate development company. During her 16 year tenure, Elizabeth oversaw the development of dozens of retail projects – involving everything from national big box chains on 10 acre parcels to smaller single tenant properties. Elizabeth studied Biological Sciences at the University of California at Irvine and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
