Description
MET Labs has been dust and water certifying enclosures for manufacturers and panel shops for ingress protection (IP Code) for over 30 years. MET is also expert in subjecting control panels to climatic extremes. MET is the responsive alternative for leading manufacturers.

Asad started at MET in 2001 as an EMC Engineer, then advanced to Senior EMC Engineer, Union City EMC Manager, West Coast EMC Manager, and is currently serving as the Director of EMC Laboratory, as position he has held since 2010. Asad has extensive experience in EMC design and evaluation, with specialization in EMC test automation, wireless, NEBS, automotive (SAE & E-mark), military and avionics testing.
Testing to IEEE C37.90.1 is not a regulatory requirement. It is sometimes a requirement of power utilities and similar companies. The acceptability of any exemptions claimed by the manufacturer of the equipment under test would be the responsibility of the purchasing company.
