Mereco Technologies Group Companies, comprised of the Metachem Resins Corporation (MERECO) Division and DMS, is headquartered in West Warwick, RI., USA. Founded in 1960 by Herbert L. Spivack , Metachem Resins Corporation and the Mereco Technologies Group is globally recognized as a highly specialized manufacturer of formulated epoxy, urethane, silicone, UV curable systems and materials for solar cell manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, defense, and other industries.

In our mind, there is a tremendous difference between our customers being “satisfied” and being “delighted”. A customer being satisfied means that Mereco has performed according to expectations. Being delighted means we have gone above and beyond the call of duty not only to meet the customer expectations but that we have exceeded their expectations by offering them additional information or services beyond that required on the purchase order and they look forward with delight to doing business with us again.

My company, Mereco Technologies, a manufacturer of custom formulated materials for electronic applications, has been a fixture in the Rhode Island small business landscape since 1960. Over those fifty fours years, the company has always provided generous health care benefits for its employees.

In 1985, a decision was made to grow by acquisition. This later turned into a near disaster. This decision initiated the founding of the Mereco Technologies Group and was originally incorporated in 1985 to acquire Design and Manufacturing Specialties Company in Attleboro, a manufacturer of printed circuit board test fixtures. The company had declared bankruptcy and Mereco had agreed to settle with the creditors. It was believed that the “marriage” would enhance both organizations in the electronics field.
