11/11/09 METAL heads: Scandalous performance by Wolf Pack members Sevendust this Saturday in Tampa. The METAL Florida 1st Assault Team was mixing it up with the rock and roll proletariat on the west coast of Florida. For all the peeps that said hi to METAL and Sevendust we appreciate your support and your patronage for the only fully dedicated American made, all inclusive apparel company. No compromises on quality and absolutely no death camp labor for your METAL gear. As the band prepares for another tour overseas for the troops we wish them the best and Godspeed to all the troops stationed far from home. Want to send out birthday wishes to our beloved Marine Corps and all the hill chargers past and present. God Bless all of you for service. The following day is Veterans Day so make sure you thank all the GIANTS for their to sacrifice and dedication for making the existence of America possible. The next appearance by the METAL hauler should in Phoenix at one of the Cardinals games in December. We look forward to mixing it up with Kurt Warner and the rest of the team and all the Arizona METALheads that are attending the game. B.D. 8/5/09 METALheads: Great outing at the METAL FOB in Charlotte on Memorial Day weekend. Want to thank all the GIANTS that showed up to the METAL sampling tent and said hi to us. Great, great servicemen and women that gave us the whats up and picked up some comp METAL gear. Almost total domination by Airborne and Special Forces troops that came from nearby Fort Bragg. Good turn out by Air Force pilots and the ground support Airman. A big METAL thank you again to all the GIANTS we had an opportunity to mix it up with. Want to inform all of our GIANTS that METAL is now donating memberships to a charity of ours, Soldiers For The Truth for all servicemen and women with a purchase of jeans on line. It has a $30 value that will be paid to Soldiers For The Truth. All service personnel both active and retired are entitled to the membership. SFTT is METAL's number one military charity founded by the late GIANT Colonel David Hackworth, USA and continues to be ran by his widow Eilhys England and GIANT Lt. Col. Roger Charles USMC (Ret). It is the only organization in the country that is concentrating on protecting line Infantry units and support units in harms way before they are attacked as opposed to so many great charities that concentrate on the GIANTS after they have been wounded. One of the most important aspects of this train of thought outside of the obvious effort to protect our sacred troops is the cost savings to the Army and Marine Corps. Whereas the correct flak gear/body armor and armored vehicles save their lives the cost is incredibly modest compared to the life time of care, hospitalization and disability pay for the wounded. This savings can be rolled back into better pay and benefits for the GIANTS as healthy active soldiers and Marines. For all you local METALheads in the Los Angeles area METAL will be bringing the thunder to the Staples Center at the end of August for the Kings Hockey Fest. To give you a hint of the ginormity of the event it will be the first time that the METAL Jeans Ice Crew girls will be in person with the METALicious hotties. I think the air just left my lungs. METAL, Kings fans or both your attendance is demanded to see some scandalicious girls mixing it up down town with the Kings players thrown in for good measure. Oxygen and defibrillators will be in the METAL hauler when you pass out. Don't forget to thank a GIANT for sustaining and protecting the greatest country in the universe. Big Daddy. 4/28/09 METALheads: An amazing item came across the METAL bow that seemingly went unnoticed by most. Denzel Washington quietly wrote out a check for $3 million to fund a Fisher House at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Fisher Houses are hotels/quarters where GIANTS families can reside while their wounded family members are being treated. In addition to that one of his sons is an active duty Marine. Just amazing and a big hell yea from the METAL family and God Bless you for the time and effort and that huge financial contribution. Wolf Pack members Sevendust are on their way to the Middle East for several USO shows. Big supporters of the GIANTS I hope they're ready for that desert blast furnace that awaits them. All you GIANTS based in the Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan theaters check their web site for times and locations when they roll into your Camp, AO or FOB. All NASCAR fans attending the Charlotte race on Memorial Day weekend are instructed to bee-line over to the METAL Salutes the GIANTS tent for sampling and giveaways. We will be providing several servicemen with passes to the race and a meet and greet with several of the Wolf Pack drivers at the track. Advise all Americans out there that this is the day to reflect on all the fallen GIANTS that are no longer around and how truly blessed we are to have Americans that sacrificed everything for us. Make sure you give every service member a thank you where ever you may see them.....don't worry they won't bite. Also, stay tuned for new members being added to the Wolf Pack. Big Daddy 2/03/2009 METALheads: Great Super Bowl outing in Tampa. Want to thank the thousands of people that came to the METAL meet and greet at the game especially Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald. Great game, tough break that the Cardinals lost that scandalous battle. For the NASCAR fans attending the season opener at Daytona keep your eyes peeled for the newest Wolf Pack members Sevendust. The band will be in the garage area meeting and taking pictures with their fellow Wolf Pack members and their respective pit crew members. Watch for the METAL to join them this year out on the road for the American Made American Worn World Tour. Want to especially thank our sacred GIANTS for what has largely gone un-noticed on January 31st. Another successful round of elections in Iraq where hardly a gunshot was heard. Every single soldier, Marine, Navy SEAL and Air Force Combat Controller this was another milestone in your accomplishments. The haters doubted and condemned you while you quietly went about making history. The METAL wants to thank you for your GIANT service to the world and a big truck load of thanks to all your families that do suffer in your absence. For all the parents that raised you guys God Bless for giving America such wonderful sons and daughters. Big Daddy 12/23/2008 METAL heads: In these tough, turbulent times that we are suffering through I am giddy to report a great story about an all-American, rock and rolling, head-banging GIANT Frank Cavanagh of the band Filter. Playing bass for the band they actual played for the troops last year in Kuwait where so many of the GIANTS get a respite from that desert furnace/haterville for a few days. Now Frank has put down his ax and is or about to return to Iraq as a hill charger in our beloved US ARMY. Don't want to divulge too many details about his unit or his area of operations other than to say Godspeed over there and you are a credit to the nation. It is truly a great, inspirational story similar to the one of the fallen GIANT Pat Tillman. I encourage everyone to keep their chin up even though things are a bit tough out there. Remember we are Americans and don't have the luxury to sit around, pout and feel sorry for ourselves. We are still a truly blessed nation and no other part of the planet will ever measure up. Again, think of the troops this Christmas and the fact that some are spending a 3rd and 4th Christmas over in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, the former Yugoslavia, Europe, Japan and several locations we officially don't have any troops at. Big Daddy. 10/3/2008 METALheads: A huge thank you to our sacred troops slapping down the hate filled haters soiling our wonderful planet. Surprised that so many enlightened types have forgot about the wars going on now that progress is being made. God Bless every serviceman and woman going through another tour either in Iraq, Afghanistan or some nasty little place that they're not allowed to broadcast. Keep these wonderful Americans in your prayers as Thanksgiving and Christmas approach and they are a universe away from their families. I would like to inform you about a new feature on the METAL site. It's the icon for the GIANTS. We will be posting pictures and small bio's of combat vets that have or are serving in the war against terrorism. If you know someone that fits the criteria send photo's and a paragraph bio with their name, rank, unit and where they have served. I want to welcome some new team members that have met the METAL standard and look forward to a long partnership beneficial to all concerned. They are the Los Angeles Kings, the Philadelphia Flyers and the Washington Redskins. It's early in the NHL but nothing would please the METAL more to see the two teams meet in the finals. Stay tuned for some upcoming events featuring stars from all the teams flossing with the American Made American Worn METAL. All you NASCAR fans stay tuned for further additions to the Wolf Pack and their gear. Have some more great drivers joining the team. At this point we're hoping that Wolf Pack member Carl Edwards can still grab that title belt in the final few races that are left. It's getting interesting and non-Wolf Pack member Jimmy Johnson is threatening three in a row.
