Market Reach - Metal Management, Inc. (Nasdaq: MTLM) is one of the largest full service metals recyclers in the United States, with approximately 50 recycling facilities in 16 states. We enjoy leadership positions in many major markets, including Chicago, metropolitan New York City, Houston, Phoenix, Denver, Memphis, Cleveland, Hartford, Salt Lake City, and Birmingham.Operations - Metal Management is primarily involved in the collection and processing of ferrous metals (iron and steel) and non-ferrous metals (principally aluminum, copper, nickel-based, titanium and high-temperature alloys). We collect industrial scrap and obsolete scrap, process it into reusable forms and supply the recycled metals to our customers, including electric arc furnace mills, integrated steel mills, foundries, secondary smelters and metals brokers. In addition, we are periodically retained as demolition contractors in certain of our large metropolitan markets. We also provide stevedoring services at some of our locations adjacent to commercial waterways.Products - We provide one of the most comprehensive product offerings of both ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals. Our processed ferrous products primarily include shredded, sheared, cold briquetted, bundled scrap metal, and other purchased scrap metal, such as turnings, cast and broken furnace iron. We also process non-ferrous metals using similar techniques and through the application of our proprietary technologies.
