For half a century Metalplate Galvanizing has provided quality galvanizing services for the trade, from the small customer to the large engineering and fabrication firm. We service both private industry and government, including military applications. Metalplate Galvanizing has been used successfully in such diverse industries as Power Transmission, Petrochemicals, Water Treatment, Bridges and Highways, and Paper Mills.This year, Metalplate Galvanizing will provide quality galvanized coatings to thousands of tons of steel. Our galvanizing production facilities, located in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Texas meet that demand in addition to providing surge capacity to meet additional customer requirements. Metalplate Galvanizing processes shapes over 60 feet long or 11 feet wide with weights up to 20 tons. We can galvanize and centrifuge small parts - threaded fasteners, hardware and other small items, both steel and castings. We also pickle and oil.Our Quality System is designed to insure the excellent results expected by our customer. Our modern process instrumentation, Standard Operating Procedures and well trained operating personnel form the backbone of a system designed to insure that all quality requirements and customers' expectations are met. We adhere to the standards delineated in the appropriate ASTM Specifications for hot dip galvanizing. We inspect materials to assure that a quality galvanized coating has been applied and provide Certificates of Compliance when requested. Metalplate Galvanizing is currently focusing its technical efforts towards compliance with ISO 9001.
