It has been 10 years now since H & M came into being. The company, established by Henry with his younger son Mariusz, has been based from the very beginning upon the father’s many years of experience. Having acquired considerable knowledge on the subject during his four years of employment with a Chicago firm (with a tradition of its own that numbers 25 years), Henry decided to start his own business with Mariusz, who at that time had already been working for a year in the trade. Enhancing their work method by incorporating their own ideas (methods of installing new floors, types of wood, detailed planning and finishing), Henry and Mariusz developed unparalleled levels of quality. Working initially as subcontractors for their former employers, they quickly become independent, and currently draw their support solely from the chain of recommendations that comes from a thoroughly satisfied clientele. On the market there is a constant battle being waged in the spirit of healthy competition. Companies solicit clients using gimmicks and promotions, and by modernizing and improving the services they offer. Along with company’s development and expansion, their profits grow as well. These profits however, can obscure the original ideals and personal engagement of company’s founders, who have often spent years together to perfect its harmony of operation. A company’s size and the ever increasing distance between its head and the client, reduce the personal connection to a bare minimum. H & M Flooring is a company that has decided to stake its success and the satisfaction of its clients and on the strength that flows from working as a two man team. Each man knows his role and the team strives to realize its motto of superior workmanship. We are a company in which the natural desire to make an honest dollar, has not deprived us of the pleasure we take in providing the services that we do. We are not interested in expansion through the purchase of new vans manned by rookies who, due to their inexperience, initially bring new income but lead to a loss of the trust that is being placed in us by our clients. Although a new project may not be unusual in terms of the work, it is in fact our first in the client’s home, different from the ones we have done until now and therefore the most important. Insuring that the first encounter is accompanied by a good impression is an important goal. We don’t rely solely on our experience but constantly strive to perfect our work through the use of new materials. All of this is for the explicit purpose of sharing the satisfaction equally.
