Description
He attended New York City Community College, now known as New York Technical College, after deciding to study Ophthalmic Dispensing. His decision was purely business related.In 1979 he opened his first optician's office -which he named Metro Optics Eyewear-at 1332 Metropolitan Avenue, between Benedict and McGraw Avenues. Michael has enjoyed a decade of growing success at the location, which he still operates Mondays through Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.In August of 1988, Michael and Dr. Eva Yan opened Metro Optics Eyewear II at 25 Westchester Square after six months of renovation. That store has experienced considerable success since its ribbon cutting.
