About Us Meyer Contracting Corporation has been serving businesses and families in the Mid-Hudson Valley for over twenty years. Founded in 1986, the company was first known as Meyer Builders of Pleasant Valley.. The company quickly gained a reputation for reliability and quality work, as well as, for its dedication to service. After its early success, the company changed its name to Meyer Contracting Corporation in 1994. Today, Meyer is an open shop general contractor, that performs both prevailing wage and private work. The company employs over 40 people, including a highly-skilled, field crew of dedicated craftsmen: operators, carpenters, laborers and masons. Meyer Contracting believes that its success is attributed largely on its unique ability to bring projects in on time and within budget. As the company looks to the future, it continues to focus on its short-term goals: to provide its customers with a positive construction experience and to continue to invest in customer relations and long range marketing.
