Michael's is one of Southern Illinois' finest dining establishments and has now served the community for over 70 years, since 1941. Only 30 minutes from St. Louis, Belleville, Alton, O'Fallon, Granite City - less from Edwardsville and Collinsville - Michael's has taken care to advance a reputation for exquisite dining, touched ever so slightly with stained glass windows, leisure ceiling fans, deep wood, carpeting, and candlelight. All this would be nothing without the incomparable cuisine that comes from the skill of head chef, Gaye Michael, who obtains the best – fresh seafood, prime cuts of Iowa beef, Wisconsin milk-fed prime veal.
