I have a B.A. summa cum laude from Amherst College (1973), where I majored in mathematics and economics. I am a cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School (1976). I have worked in government, in a law firm, and in business. For fifteen years I was in-house counsel at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital (now part of Partners HealthCare System). I also studied personal financial planning in Bentley College's graduate program and am certified by Bentley as a Master Personal Financial Planner (1999). I am compensated only by client fees. I do not sell investment products to my clients and I do not receive commissions from third parties. My goal is to provide clients with unbiased high-quality impartial advice at reasonable prices. I am a financial planner, a Registered Investment Advisor, and an attorney. I have been providing independent legal and financial services since 1999. I have been a member of Pride Planners since its inception. I have an AV ® rating from Martindale-Hubbell , the worldwide attorneys' directory. "A" is the top legal ability rating. The General-Ethical Standards Rating of "V" indicates adherence to professional standards of conduct and ethics, reliability, and diligence.
