MicroTek was founded in 1991, opening our first training center in downtown San Francisco. Our goal was to combine technologically advanced training environments, with outrageous customer service, for software and training companies in major locations across the nation.After sitting down with training professionals to learn what instructors needed, we began implementing the “instructional design techniques” they were looking for. We were able to design MicroTek's full-service rental training centers to meet the highly specialized technology and presentation room requirements necessary for the successful delivery of training. We also created the most knowledgeable “training-industry” sales and administrative teams possible, making sure that all our employees understood we are in the customer service business above all.Since inception, we've seen a steady market share gain and consistent profitability allowing us to invest in new learning tools and developing technologies. MicroTek's founding team is still with the company, and has been supplemented by long-term employees. With this much experience we've been able to deliver stability and expertise to clients that were used to experiencing the opposite with their learning events.
