MicroCool®, a leader in high tech fogging systems, was founded in 1981. Based in Thousand Palms, Southern California, U.S.A., the company custom designs, engineers and manufactures a wide range of high pressure (1,000 psi) water fogging systems, for a variety of residential, commercial and industrial applications. The company markets its patented product by direct sales and through dealers, both in the U.S.A. and in more than 40 overseas markets.In 1981 MicroCool® developed the world's first outdoor cooling systems for homes, restaurants, hotels and resorts in Palm Springs, where in summer temperatures exceed 120 degrees. Since then the company has further developed it's "flash evaporation" fog systems for a wide variety of commercial and industrial applications.MicroCool® was acquired by Nortec Industries Inc. in 2001 and became a member of the AxAir group of companies (one of the world's largest humidification groups) The AxAir Group supplies humidification equipment of all types through divisions across the world. AxAir is a member of the Walter Meier Holdings Company.
