MKC's Current Operations Mid Kansas Coops Association is a full service farm cooperative offering a complete line of supplies and services for both farm and urban customers located in the central part of Kansas with over 5,000 members. Currently servicing customers in nine counties, MKC was founded in 1965 by the merger of three neighboring cooperatives in Moundridge, Buhler, and Groveland. Since its founding it has grown in size and territory with the addition of branches at Bavaria, Benton, Bridgeport, Burns, Castleton, Conway, Elyria, Falun, Florence, Galva, Goessel, Haven, Hilton, Inman, Lindsborg, Marquette, McLains, McPherson, Newton, Peabody, Roxbury, Walton, Whitewater, Wichita, and Windom. The 140 full time employees play an important role in the growth and success of MKC.
