The Midstates family of companies began in 2005 when transportation industry veterans Mike Orr and Bill Havrilka founded Midstates Transport to serve the needs of clients in trucking, shuttle and expedited services. Soon thereafter — responding to client needs and market opportunities to provide more comprehensive services — the owners expanded the business to include sister companies Midstates Logistics and Midstates Equipment Leasing . Both Midstates’ co-owners remain actively involved in daily operations of the company.

Bill Havrilka, CPA, brings nearly three decades of experience to the management of the Midstates group of companies, drawing from his hands-on knowledge in the fields of transportation, logistics, construction and real estate. His background includes both entrepreneurial expertise in the ownership of privately held businesses as well as extensive financial management experience in the private and public sectors.
