Description

Serving your future needs now... Midwest Bus Corporation has evolved from an organization of 20 individuals in 1980 to one of the largest companies in this country dedicated to bus repair, replacement parts, used bus sales, bus leasing, and field services to the transit industry. Our goal is to provide high quality products, services, and parts to our customers. Midwest strides to develop the skills and capabilities of our associates to be responsive to our customers' needs. We have evolved from a regional remanufacturing center to a corporation that offers aftermarket part sales, used bus sales, bus leasing and field services throughout the country. Midwest has become an industry leader by not only completing some of the largest bus remanufacturing projects in the country but also now provides specialty work activities associated with campaigning buses for transit authorities in the area of air conditioning, structural repair, wheelchair retrofitting and vandal resistant film on windows. Our continued success lies with our staff members' long history in the transit industry and technical expertise.

Parts Department... Midwest Bus Corporation's Aftermarket Parts Sales Division supplies bus repair and replacement parts to the transit industry. Our customers include virtually every major property in the United States and Canada, and we are working hard to better serve our medium and smaller-sized customers. We also are seeking more private operations such as airport shuttles, urban charter and contract operations and others. We sell parts for New Flyer, Gillig, NABI, Orion, Nova, Optima and El Dorado buses. We have long specialized in Panels and Access Doors for these buses. Midwest Bus has expanded its product line into Bumpers, Fenders, Rub Rails, Rubber Seals, Air Bags, Radius Rods, Brackets and Side Impact Panels.

Field Service... Midwest Bus Corporation continues to offer innovative services to meet our customers' changing needs. We have the resources to perform fleet repair or fleet upgrades at the customer location or local facility. As the awareness of the program grows the more popular this service has become. Performing work on site has greatly benefited transit operators by reducing the time the coach is out of service. This also eliminates the need for the customer to reassign and train current staff or hire temporary staff. Our staff has strong technical expertise and years of experience in the transit industry. Previous contracts have included wheelchair lift retrofits, wheelchair lift rebuilding, bulkhead replacements and repair, window rebuilding with vandal resistant film, air conditioning retrofits, and OEM manufacture warranty repairs. Projects have ranged from as small as one unit to as large as 1600 units. Midwest Bus is a recognized leader in managing and completing on site contracts. Our customer satisfaction with our field service is outstanding.

Growing for over a quarter century, our aim is to take pride in "Serving your future needs NOW(TM)..."
