Midwest Metals, Inc. was formerly the Davenport, Iowa branch of the Gate City Steel Company owned by Valmont Industries. Current management purchased this operation from The Levinson Steel Company in 1990. We began producing parts as a manufacturer in 1994 serving light industrial equipment manufacturers. We have produced parts for several industries including airline transportation, agriculture, construction, railroad equipment manufacturers, material handling, and ground transportation.
