Midwest Underground Technology, Incorporated (MUTI) corporate offices are located in Champaign, IL (two hours south of Chicago, IL) with branch offices in Lee's Summit, MO, O’Fallon, MO, and Joliet, IL. MUTI specializes in communications tower erection, multi-site maintenance, full site construction, and horizontial directional drilling. MUTI has extensive experience in the installation of tower foundations both mat and drilled shaft types, installation of access roads and site clearing, all types of excavation, tower erection, multi-site tower maintenance/inspection, installation of full grounding systems, and underground directional drilling. MUTI has worked with and has experience with numerous federal, state, and local agencies and most major telecommunications companies. Customers include the U.S. Government, U.S. Department of the Navy, various State Governments, Federal Aviation Administration, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, Sprint,, Level 3, American Tower, Bechtel, Crown Castle, Cable & Wireless, Boatphone, and Televar among others. With these customers MUTI has experience installing communications towers, antennas, coax, re-strengthening steel, mapping and inspections, setting shelters, foundations, material warehousing and inventory control, multiple site construction and coordination through out the U.S. as well as the Caribbean, British West Indies, and the Dominican Republic. Additionally our personnel have experience in cross-country boring, all types of excavation, and installation of fiber rings.
