For over 110 years, Brethren Retirement Community has grown strategically to meet the emerging needs of an ever increasing aging population and has a rich history of providing the highest quality of services, developing new directions for service delivery, and responding to the needs of seniors and caregivers with initiatives that expand the continuum of community-based services.

Delivered by a name you know and trust Rooted in Christian values and service to older adults since 1902, Brethren Retirement Community responded to the changing times in 2009 by creating Brethren Home Community Services, LLC, a wholly-owned and operated subsidiary of Brethren Retirement Community. This new ministry extends our continuum of care to older adults through in-home and adult day services providing the same excellent service and quality of life that has been the cornerstone of our work for over 110 years.

Brethren Home Management Services, LLC, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Brethren Retirement Community providing management services to long-term care communities. We provide comprehensive services to communities, highlighted by the support of our Clinical Quality Assurance, Fiscal Management, Operations, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Culture Change Departments. Brethren Home Management Services was founded with three guiding commitments: Stewardship, Excellence and Compassion.

Brethren Retirement Community is a Christian, not-for-profit CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community), celebrating over a century of service to older adults of all faiths. Since our beginning in 1902, our mission continues to focus on caring for older adults. Our full continuum of care provides services and levels of care so residents can remain on the same campus, keeping their friendships intact while maintaining their relationship with trusted staff members.

Our mission is to foster, maintain, and operate a Christian retirement community, and to provide services which enhance the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, enabling persons to live securely with dignity, continuing to love, learn, and achieve personal fulfillment.
