In 1976, Joel Miller, David Wrubel and others founded Miller & Wrubel to be a different type of law firm. At a time when law firms were starting to grow and merge into the cumbersome firms seen today, the founders of M&W believed they could offer their clients better results on a more efficient basis by remaining small and independent. Through the years, M&W has declined multiple invitations to join its sophisticated practice with larger firms. M&W specializes in commercial litigation and arbitration, regulatory investigations and actions, and other matters that require a sophisticated litigation-oriented strategy. We routinely represent investment banks, financial institutions, asset managers, property owners and other companies, as well as individual officers, directors and employees, in a broad array of matters, including securities, contract, real estate, employment, employee raiding, unfair competition, bankruptcy, corporate governance, intellectual property, and professional and lender liability. At M&W, we believe the best and most efficient results can be obtained by a small team of dedicated attorneys that are involved in all aspects of a matter and have the experience to handle all potential phases of a case, including trial. While many cases may be resolved most favorably to our clients prior to trial, we are at all times ready and willing to try cases. Our attorneys have extensive trial and arbitration experience, and each year we successfully try numerous cases in court and arbitration. We are dedicated to using technology to represent our clients as effectively and efficiently as possible. We are experienced in all aspects of e-discovery, as well as the use of the latest technologies for the presentation of evidence at hearings and trial. In June 2009, we moved into our current offices in the historic General Electric Building (also known as the RCA Building), at 570 Lexington Avenue, the classic Art Deco building depicted on our home page. 2009
