Milot Real Estate has roots in this community that extend back four decades. Originally started by Gerald and Marsha Milot in 1978, the company has been at the forefront of Burlington ’s responsible growth. During that time, we ’ve always conducted business based on the premise that creating value is the key to the creation of long-term relationships. Where many companies were cutting corners in order to maximize profits, what distinguished us then and now is the belief that the value provided to customers is what should be maximized. Today, under its second generation of family ownership, Milot Real Estate continues to embrace those values. We only take on a select number of projects at any given time, never overextending financial or management resources. Value creation is still the key guiding principle. And we remain an important part of the Vermont landscape. Each member of our team brings years of relevant experience and real estate expertise to the table. brett@milotrealestate.com Brett Grabowski, originally from Rochester, NY, became infatuated with Vermont at a fairly young age. An accomplished skier, he attended high school at the Green Mountain Valley School in Waitsfield and became a member of the United States Ski Team in 1988. After spending several years competing around the world he retired in 1992 from international competition and returned to the states to compete for the University of Vermont where he became a two time all American while earning a B.S. in electrical engineering in 1996. It was his work in this field that honed his fine sense of detail. As the director of development for Milot Real Estate, a position he's held since 1999, Brett oversees all phases of the development pipeline. He is continually on the lookout for parcels of land that meet our high standards, and once purchase has been finalized he divides his time between the job site and various town authorities, expertly managing both regulatory environment and construction issues.
