Minburn Communications is a full service telephone, cable television, cellular and Internet provider with offices in Minburn and Woodward, Iowa. We are members of ITA , RIITA , OPASTCO and NTCA.

From time to time stock in our company becomes available for sale by our shareholders. Our company will not become involved in the transaction, but we would be glad to provide information that may connect an interested buying party with an interested selling party.

In 1999, the Woodward exchange was purchased from Rochester Telephone Corporation, Rochester, NY and the subsidiary was named Minburn Telecommunications, Inc. The Woodward Mutual Telephone Company was founded in February, 1902.

The National Broadband Plan even proposes to cut and eliminate certain revenue streams that Minburn Communications receives today which allow us to provide you with quality service at rates comparable to those in urban areas. The plan assumes we can recover this lost revenue from our local users, or more directly—You. This means your rates could potentially increase approximately $35.50 a month while urban areas would see little or no change.
