Description
Known for his love for nature and the "great outdoors," Norris G. Hardeman II began his photographic career years ago while occasionally experimenting with a very inexpensive camera. He truly enjoyed this newly found hobby, which he never imagined would become so fulfilling. As an engineering graduate of Oakland University, this inspiring young man began his professional career as a mechanical/ electrical engineer in the automotive industry. Using his skills as an engineer, Mr. Hardeman has been able to apply such skills to various technical aspects of his secondary career in photography. However, his true God given talent as a photographer and artist lies in his creative ability to visualize unique photographic images by painting a picture in his mind. The key to photographic success for Mr. Hardeman begins initially in one ’s mind, which he considers the birthplace for one ’s artistic abilities. Hence, one is not surprised that he named his photography business that he founded in 1994, Mind's Eye Photography. Specializing in a variety of nature related objects, scenic locations, and architecture, the photographic selections of Mind's Eye Photography consists of an assortment of color and black and white custom prints. His prints range from beautiful floral images to spectacular sunsets, scenic mountain views, historical lighthouses, and a variety of other creations. Of special interest to Mr. Hardeman, is his photographic collection of lighthouses, which he says are particularly fascinating due to the uniqueness and historical account each one represents. While Mind's Eye Photography encompasses photography from various places of the country, as a native of Michigan, Mr. Hardeman is first to admit his bias lies here, especially in Michigan ’s Upper Peninsula. Of his Michigan collection, one will find breathtaking portraits of the fall season, spectacular waterfalls, lighthouses, mountain views, (yes Michigan has mountains!), etc. Without a doubt, whatever room, office, or space you desire to "bring alive", Mind's Eye Photography is sure to provide the creative highlight you need. For as one views the photography of Norris G. Hardeman II, one can only delight in the beauty and creativity this artist brings to the world of photography.
