Description
Established in 1962, by owner-Dan Henderson, the company has grown from 3 to 60 employees. The original building was only a third of the site of the present building. When Henderson purchased the business, it was a slaughter and meat processing plant. While Mineola Packing Company Incorporated is one of the few custom slaughter plants in East Texas, the business has evolved into a meat wholesaler which markets mainly to restaurants and smaller grocery stores within 250 mile radius. The current list of products include beef, pork, poultry, cheese, catfish and smoked meats. Mineola Packing Company Incorporated also does custom slaughtering and processing, however we are mainly a slaughter and boning facility.
