The headquarters of Carlson Companies are in Minnetonka. The headquarters of Cargill are located in Minnetonka and are in the Wayzata Post Office area. Founded in 1865, it is now the largest privately held corporation in the U.S. in terms of revenue. Other companies based in Minnetonka include uniform company AmeriPride Services. According to the City’s 2011 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, the top employers in the city are: UnitedHealth Group, Cargill, Emerson Process Management, Starkey, SuperValu, Medica, St. Jude Medical, Carlson, Minnetonka Public Schools, and MTS.

The New Brighton Department of Public Safety provides police, fire, and emergency management services to the City. The Department is led by Public Safety Director Bob Jacobson, Deputy Director John Ellickson, and Deputy Director Dan Olson. The Police Division consists of 28 full-time police officers, 20 reserve police officers, three public safety officers, and three civilian support personnel. The Police Division responds to over 11,000 calls for service annually. Officer assignments include uniformed patrol, criminal investigations, crime prevention, and school resources officers (SRO) at Irondale High School and Highview Middle School. The Fire Division consists of 38 paid-on-call firefighters who respond to over 400 calls for service per year, a full-time fire marshal, and one civilian support staff. Several members of the Police Division also serve in the Fire Division. The Department also includes a Volunteers in Public Safety (VIPS) civilian volunteer team and a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), both part of the Citizen Corps organization.

For those who graduated their senior year at Lionsgate Academy needed to work on improving their academic and independent skills (while those who improved/passed their needs & skills get their own diplomas), students get enrolled into LGA’s post-secondary transitions program in which they called it the “AIM Program (Achieving Independence and Maturity);” where they seek to become more independent in the area of Independent Living, Employment and Post-Secondary Education since 2011. It’s located on 3447 Louisiana Avenue North on the northern area of Lionsgate Academy’s property. As students enter the AIM program based on the decisions of their IEP team, programming is highly individualized to meet student needs and that entering the second year of its inception, the AIM program continues to grow and develop to meet student needs (in which the program itself had limited on how long each student participates there and, in its general limit, that they enrolled there from 18-21 years of age).

Fridley is a city in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 27,208 at the 2010 census. It was incorporated in 1949 as a village and became a city in 1957. It is part of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area. Fridley is a “first ring” or “inner ring” suburb in the Northern part of the Twin Cities. It borders Minneapolis at its southern border. Neighboring first ring suburbs are Columbia Heights and Brooklyn Center.
