Cyndy Brucato has a three-decade career as a journalist and political strategist. Most recently, she was a news anchor at KSTP-TV where she earned both a Peabody and national Emmy. She served as deputy chief of staff for Gov. Arne Carlson and has worked with U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman and others. She is a former partner at Brucato & Halliday, a strategic communications firm, but no longer works in public relations.

Just a shout out of appreciation for Cyndy. She provides Minnpost concise and objective reporting on local right wing politics. She uses her many years of experience there to provide a fair look at the horse race without editorializing or schilling which is not a common commodity.

Minnesota’s above-average taxes and higher services have been the go-to model for years. Why assume the policies of the past will be a winning combination for the future? The world has greatly changed from the 1970s, and Minnesota businesses must compete regionally and globally.
