Except for my college years at East Carolina University and a year with a Raleigh mortgage lending company, I have always lived in Fayetteville. The mortgage business brought me back home, and I spent seven years generating loans for land acquisition and development, new home construction loans and mortgage loans for home buyers. In 1986, I went to work in real estate sales for Townsend Real Estate. These have been the most productive and personally rewarding years of my life. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of this detailed business. More than that, I enjoy getting to know the people. A real estate transaction is the most important financial move a person can make.
