Moby Marine Corporation is a small family owned and operated organization. The company was started in the late 1960's and incorporated in 1975 by two brothers, Jim and John Griffin. The founders of the company retired in 1990 and since that time Moby Marine has been co-managed by Daniel Mc Alpin and James Griffin III. Our mission is to provide maritime service to the satisfaction of the customer. Although Moby Marine has always offered commercial towing; in the past, areas of operation included utility boat charters, artificial reef projects, commercial salvage, marine services/coordinating in the motion picture industry, and inland marine towing. Moby Marine's primary business is contract cargo movements through out North, Central and South America. Our current fleet consists of three tugboats and two hopper barges. Our dock facility is located in Fort Pierce, Florida and our office is located in Stuart, Florida. P. O.
