After being able to “test drive” the new 7HP with the overwhelming graciousness of Mike & Cindy Mayette and their son Christian we came up with a plan. We found an old boat trailer and a very long metal ladder and came up with a double-decker trailer (almost completely recycled by the way) that we tow behind our Jeep Wrangler, now we just back into our storage unit with the ability to take off at any time. We picked up our 2 Mokai’s just a few weeks ago and already our lives have changed. We drove to Newburgh, NY to pick them up from the Syracuse area (3 hours away). Had a very informative and helpful visit with all of the great people at the manufacturing plant. On our way home we stopped twice and got asked several questions of “what is it” (shades of things to come) but it is a pleasure to answer questions and share the knowledge of such a great product. Our only regret is that we had to wait so long in the season to purchase as very soon it will be getting quite cold in the CNY area. But we can always take a quick weekend trip further South to get our Mokai fix in. We have made life-long friends in the short time since we made our purchase and are eternally grateful for this wonderful product, the people who make them and the people who love them. I’m thinking a web site on How To "Trick" Your Mokai might be in order soon… Name: Terry & Paul Brousseau, Syracuse NY Email: Owner Since: August 2010 Submitted September 2010 This Mokai is the greatest..I have been able to reach places I have always wanted to but had no way of reaching them..Starting out in Burlington, NJ I have traveled up the Neschamity Creek, taken the Mokai to Tullytown,PA as well as the Assicunk Creek here in NJ..I have logged aprox 7 hrs on it in an effort to get the feel of the way it handles and love it...I'll soon be ready to enjoy it in the upper Delaware river in places like Bulls Run, Lambertville, and Stockton Bridge..I have been doing floating trips in my canoe with an electric motor in these places but have been limited to only some spots..with my Mokai, Ii will be able to reach and fish all the areas..Tthanks again to the wonderful folks at the Mokai factory in Newburgh, NY.
