We also provide you with articles and resources to increase your expertise. At Moldlab, Ltd, we pride ourselves on our professionalism, knowledge, and accuracy which will increase your efficiency and professionalism when testing for house mold.

We realize that your customers will want fast results for their own peace of mind. With a turnaround time of 24-48 hours, our mold laboratory will quickly and accurately analyze your samples, then send a professional report for each sample via email or postal mail. Your customer's confidence in you will greatly increase by your prompt action and quickly-received results.

Your results will be sent via email or postal mail with a turnaround time of 1-2 days. You will receive an accurate and easy-to read report that begins with a concise summary page. Each report will state the location where that particular sample was retrieved. The report indicates if mold is present and identifies the Genus (genera) in most cases. With a tape lift sample, we provide a semi-quantitative rating system from 1X to 4X. The rating indicates how much of that particular mold is present. 1X indicates a trace amount while 4X indicates an abundance. The total concentrations on air samples can be provided if you prefer, as well as debris, fibers, and insect parts.

The toxin produced by mold is a by-product generated as the mold metabolizes nutrients. Mycotoxins are volatile organic chemical compounds. Trichothecene is the name of the toxin that Stachybotrys can produce under certain conditions. Mycotoxins in general are very long chemical chains and tend to remain chemically stable for many years. Now with that being said, NOT all molds produce toxins; And even if the type of mold you have is reported to be a potential toxin producer, it doesn't mean all the mold you have is actually producing toxin or all the mold spores of that mold are toxin producers.

Please note: While consultation is not included with self-testing, we provide a standard lab report complete with helpful links and resources. Unfortunately, for this low price, specific recommendations would be beyond the scope of the lab report. Also, if mold spores are detected through the test, onsite consultation would need to be conducted for site specific clean up protocol. Many insurance companies offer protection, so if you need to file an insurance claim, please check with your provider to be clear on their requirements.
