Description

In 1937 employees of the Pittsburgh Steel Company, Allenport Plant established a credit union for employees and their immediate families. They named the credit union: Pittsburgh Steel Allenport Employees Federal Credit Union. A one room office was opened in the steel plant with just two employees.
