Description

What is CATS? CATS includes all of the access television services provided by the Monroe County Public Library. The three channels serviced by the library are Channel 3, BCAT (Bloomington Community Access Television), Channel 12, MCAT (Monroe County Government Access Television), and Channel 14, SCOLA - International News. Government Access Channel 12 is the government access channel. This is where you see all city and county government meetings, live or taped. All programs on Channel 12 are produced by CATS staff, and are available for playback or duplication upon request. When there are no meetings on Channel 12, you will see the Community Calendar of events within Monroe County. Public Access Channel 3 is the public access channel, and it represents a constitutional forum for citizens of Bloomington and Monroe County. All programs on this channel are produced, donated or requested by citizens of Monroe County. It is our mission and pleasure to help patrons of the Monroe County Public Library express themselves on Channel 3.
