I have had the wonderful opportunity to be in many choral groups in my life, in schools, churches and many other groups along the way performing early music such as the Renaissance Singers in the 1970's and the Waimea Consort on the big island of Hawaii from 2007-2009, an all woman's empowerment choir, Voice Weavers on Kaua'i since December 2009, and recently GoddessChant by Shawna Carol, a ritualistic musical empowerment experience performed on Kaua'i in May of 2010. I was one of the soloists and part of the Goddess Chant choir and we still perform for many an occasion. I have also in my life directed many choirs, many types of choirs doing a specific type of music or an array of styles. I have choir directed in churches, schools, and student choral groups, along with professional caliber choral groups. I teach you how to blend, how to keep pitch (the most difficult especially if it is acapella) help you to learn the parts, and teach you about harmony. The goal of the choir is to become one voice and one spirit of sound. This is my intention and what has been produced in the past has been enjoyed by many, aloha
