Motor Rite, Inc. is a family owned business that was founded in 2002 by David Brooks and his father, Paul Brooks. David and Paul are North Carolina natives and Army veterans. Both owners have a vast history of mechanical experiences with over 65 years of combined experience. David Brooks is from Winston-Salem, NC and started working on cars and trucks at the age of 13 with his father. His first job was as a detail technician at a local car dealership. While there, he was promoted to Body Shop Assistant Manager. Shorly thereafter, he joined the United States Army and was stationed in Oklahoma. While there, he received training from the Army on diesel mechanics while working on large military vehicles. Once discharged from the Army, he worked at a large bus company and was in charge of all the repairs on diesel buses and vans. He worked at various places in the Triangle performing diesel and gas repairs as well as body work and automotive/truck/bus painting.

Motor Rite, Inc. is a full service diesel mechanic repair and maintenance shop located off New Bern Avenue near I-440.
