Mountain Chalet is the only locally owned mountaineering store in Colorado Springs and has been at the same location, downtown, since 1968. Unlike big chain stores that are run from afar, the Chalet is an independent mountain shop with 40 years of experience specific to the Pikes Peak region. Our goal is to provide the highest quality outdoor clothing and equipment in a comfortable atmosphere with a knowledgeable, friendly staff. We have loyal customers because we do just about anything to help you enjoy your outdoor adventures. Our emphasis is climbing, hiking, camping, and backcountry skiing.

Mountain Chalet is dedicated to helping you enjoy your outdoor experiences.
