Mountain Shadows Hunting

Mountain Shadows is home to many of the country's highest SCI scoring Trophy Red Stags. With the very strict breeding program that we've had in place since 1990 (which is focused on increased antler production) our goal of consistently producing the largest antlers is being achieved. The results of our work have been obvious over the past two hunting seasons with eight stags scoring over 400 SCI and dozens scoring over 350. If you are interested in a Trophy Red Stag, we begin hunting in early August, and run through January with highly experienced guides that will go out of their way to insure you have a safe, enjoyable, and rewarding hunting experience. We offer the hunter the chance to choose the method of hunting they desire while pursuing a Trophy Red Stag. Whether in a stand, box blind, stalking, using firearms or bow, we have something for all.
