For my entire life, I have been involved in the steel business. My grandfather had a small sheetmetal shop that—with the vision of my father, Harold Mueller—expanded into one of the greatest success stories of West Texas. The entire family worked there, and many of the third generation of the Mueller family are still involved in various steel businesses in Texas today. Mueller Metals, Inc. started at my kitchen table—my first office. Later I “upgraded” to a spare bedroom.
