Description

Multi Service Corporation was established in 1978 to provide specialized credit card services to the trucking industry. These specialized services used the latest computer technology to allow trucking companies to control purchases at truck stops across the country.Trucking companies obtained greater control and flexibility in their purchase policies. For example, a company could have its cards encoded so that certain of their Multi Service Cards could only be used to purchase fuel while their other cards would be authorized to buy fuel and oil. The transaction processing system also provided trucking companies with the first timely management reports in the industry, which helped them save time in budget planning and fuel tax reporting.Multi Service expanded into the aviation industry in 1980. Today, the Multi Service Card is the most widely used corporate aviation card in the world. In addition, cardholders receive detailed management and billing reports which help them manage costs.
