Box Partitions are a type of interior packaging which separate and protect products typically packaged in cartons and other containers by creating individual cells into which the product is placed. Sets of chipboard or corrugated strips are cut to size, slotted, and interlocked to form a grid of cells. Partitions are not typically made in common sizes, but are custom designed for each product application and made to order. Chipboard is the common term for a non-bending paperboard which has variations in appearance as to color, shade, speck, etc., and is composed of mixed waste papers.
