In addition to MAPSS, she works at Kern County Mental Health as a Unit Supervisor, providing supervision to mental health workers, in providing mental health services, including individual, family, group, and parenting interventions to children and their families in the East Bakersfield area, covering 34 schools from elementary to high school.

MAPSS provides services for children, teenagers, and adults. We can provide services to individuals with developmental delays (specifically, infants, toddlers, and children under 5 years old), those experiencing challenging behaviors, and those needing to increase appropriate behavioral skills. We use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program to address your concerns.

Lorena has over 20 years experience working in Accounting and Administration, traveled abroad to Bogota, Colombia for accounting management for Pacific Process Systems and has extensive experience in account management and business strategies. Lorena is fluent in Spanish and English also.

Pamela received her B.A. in Psychology from California State University of Bakersfield and her Masters of Science in Educational Counseling with her Pupil Personnel Service Credential from the University of La Verne. During her undergraduate education, Pamela has worked with children ranging from 0 – 18 years of age with Autism and other learning disabilities. After, receiving her Masters, she went on to become a Mental Health Program Coordinator for the Head Start/Early Head Start Program of Kern County.
