Description
The group (minimum 8) meets at our agency and leaves for Pisa. We arrive in Pisa in the morning and visit Piazza dei Miracoli, the cathedral - a masterpiece of Pisan Romanesque architecture containing works by leading artists like Gianbologna; the Baptistery, a circular Romanesque building; the Belltower, better known as the Leaning Tower, which is one of the most famous buildings in the world owing to the elegance of its white marble architecture and its unique natural inclination. Visitors make their own arrangements for lunch. In the afternoon we continue the tour to Lucca where we visit the monumental complex, including Piazza Napoleone off which narrow streets lead into the city centre. Return to San Gimignano in the evening.
