Before joining Murphy Pohlad Asset Management in 2002, Tom spent 16 years as a principal of Sahara investment Co., a family office. At Sahara, Tom invested in both public equity and fixed income securities, as well as managed investments in privately held businesses in industries ranging from consumer products to financial services. Prior to Sahara, Tom worked at his family bank holding company and was a commercial lender at First Bank Minneapolis (currently US Bank).
