Musicmakers Austin was started in November 1988 by David Baldry and Allen Kirsh, with over 25 combined years of experience working in a music store. Musicmakers has been at the same location at 517 South Lamar since the beginning in 1988. Musicmakers Austin has expanded out our sales and service departments with a daily rental dept for rentals such as amps, keyboard, drums, sound systems and wireless mic systems and also has the largest professional backline rental dept in central texas. We rent this equipment out to many of the concerts, clubs and theme parks all around texas.
