Kathy Ropers is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors and is a Certified Biofeedback Therapist through the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America. She holds a master’s degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Texas at Austin. Kathy is currently a Board Member for the Biofeedback Society of Texas, and has completed additional coursework in Neurotherapy provided by such experts as Sue Othmer, Dr. Sigfried Othmer, and Drs. Michael and Lynda Thompson.
The neuropsychological evaluations that we provide are customized to answer our clients' specific questions while fitting within any time and financial constraints they may have. The neuropsychological evaluations we provide are written in accordance with the guidelines of the Educational Testing Service (E.T.S.) and are frequently requested to provide students with either placement into Gifted and Talented programs or to obtain for them special psychoeducational accommodations within the public school system.
With over 30 years experience in psychological assessment of children, adolescents and adults, the Peak Performance Institute continues to lead the field by providing customized, cutting- edge, comprehensive testing services of all kinds. Our clients come to us with a broad spectrum of issues, questions and concerns ranging from the student with psycho-educational questions for school placement or special accommodations to the corporate executive seeking 360 reports for her Fortune 100 company. No evaluation is too small and narrow in scope or too complex and sophisticated.
We are very grateful for our strong relationships with the professional community and receive a large portion of our client referrals from physicians, tutors, teachers, and counselors. By far our strongest source of referral is word of mouth, as our clients refer their friends and neighbors for quality care. Currently, we are providing services for out-of-state and intenational clients, as our reputation has grown due largely to our depth in the field of assessment across disciplines.
With an expert team approach, we provide therapeutic assessments using cutting-edge instruments, coaching, therapy and training. The Peak Performance Profile often includes a Brain Map (QEEG), as well as testing in the areas of academics, career, marital satisfaction, personality and intellectual functioning. We work collaboratively with our clients to identify their specific goals and design their Peak Performance Training programs according to their wishes employing the finest instruments available in the industry.
