Description
DC-6 Our fleet currently consists of three types of aircraft in "All Cargo" configuration to serve your needs. Our DC-6 aircraft are the workhorse of the fleet carrying payloads of up to 28,000 pounds of cargo and require a minimum 3,500 foot runway to carry the maximum cargo payload. This aircraft was designed and proven for the conditions that currently exist in much of rural Alaska; remote, unmanned, gravel strips sprinkled throughout the backcountry. Extraordinarily specialized aircraft that remains unmatched for rugged durability and workmanship. All Northern Air Cargo aircraft are configured with large cargo doors and can accommodate oversize freight. All of our aircraft can land on paved, gravel, and ice strips in support of remote project and construction sites.
